About the Owner

Howdy! My name is Amanda Matoushek.  I have been living in The Woodlands for over 6 years with my husband Matt and our two four-legged kiddos, Chip and Mia.  Chip is our 7 year old snuggle bug of a kitty, and Mia is our 5 year old, energetic, ball-obsessed Australian Shepherd mix.  I enjoy camping, working in the yard, reading, trying to play golf, bowling and most of all spending time with the family and friends (which of course includes the furry ones!).

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a B.S. in Biomedical Science.  I have over 6 years of professional experience in small animal care working as a Veterinary Assistant, Pet Sitter and Research Assistant, and a lifetime of experience loving animals.  I established Guardian Angel Pet Care in April of 2006 with the desire to combine my compassion for animals with my profession.  There is nothing like the wiggles and wags from our furry friends to put a smile on one's face.  

It is my personal mission, as the sole owner and operator of Guardian Angel Pet Care, to provide the highest quality pet care available.  My top priority is always the happiness and health of your little angels.  My biggest reward is in knowing I have made their lives more comfortable and stress free while you were away.

I am fully insured for your protection through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.  I carry liability insurance that includes coverage for your pets as well as your personal property (see links page).
